1st  day - Acireale

Arrival in  Acireale. Arrangement in hotel, dinner and night

2nd day - Etna - Taormina - Acireale

Acireale (or surroundings) - Breakfast in hotel and departure for the excursion of Etna. With its 3.323 mt. high, the Vulcan overlooks the entire ionic Sicilian coast. Optional ascent to the crater, weather permitting. Free time for lunch. To follow transfer to Taormina for visit of the city, authentic pearl of Sicily. Visit of Teatro Greco, Corso Umberto I, the Cathedral of San Niccolò. Return in hotel for dinner and night.

3rd day - Siracusa - Noto

Acireale (or surroundings) - Breakfast in hotel and departure to Siracusa. Guided visit of the archaeological area and the historical centre: the Latomia del Paradiso, the Ara di Ierone, the Orecchio di Dionisio, the Teatro Greco, the Cathedral and the fountain Aretusa. Lunch in typical restaurant. During the afternoon continuing to Noto, capital of Baroque. During 2002 has been elected World heritage from UNESCO. Visit of the Cathedral, recently reopened after a fall, and the Palazzo Nicolaci along the famous infiorata street and stop for a taste of sweet moscato wine . Arrangement in hotel in Ragusa area. Dinner and night.

4th day - Ragusa - Modica

Ragusa (or surroundings) - Breakfast in hotel. Visit of Ragusa Ibla with the external visit of the Cathedral with its majestic baroque structure, and the Chiesa del Purgatorio. Continuing to Modica. Lunch in typical osteria with taste of cheese of Ragusa Dop and typical products. Visit of Modica, spearhead of Sicilian baroque, with its little houses excavated in the chalky rocks of the area. Taste of the so-called “Food of the Gods” that is the chocolate of Modica, produced by very ancient techniques of azteca importation. Return in hotel. Dinner and night.

5th day - Caltagirone - Piazza Armerina - Acireale

Ragusa (or surroundings) - Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Caltagirone well-known for the artisan production of ceramics. Through the ocher colored buildings, raises the baroque bell-towers and the splendid Villa Comunale. The element most appealing is the spectacular staircase: 142 steps decorated with majolica, that connect the high city with the low city. Continuing to Piazza Armerina. Lunch in restaurant. Visit of the Villa romana del Casale and its renowned mosaics, that extends for 3500 mq. describing the live of Romans. Transfer to Acireale area, arrangement in hotel. Dinner and night.

6th Day - Messina - Cosenza

Acireale (or surroundings) - Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Messina to visit the Cathedral, reconstructed after the earthquake of 1908. Unique in Italy is the majestic astronomical Clock, the biggest and more complex in the world. Free time for lunch. Finish of services.
