ROME, VATICAN AND TIVOLI
TOUR 4 DAYS/ 3 NIGHTS
1st day: Arrival in Rome and visit of the city
Arrival in Rome and start the guided visit of “ancient Rome”: Piazza Venezia, overlooked by the majestic Vittoriano, monument that celebrates the Unity of Italy; the Campidoglio, centre of political life; the Fori Imperiali, the Colosseum and the Arco di Costantino, work dedicated to the Senate and to Costantino on 315; the Palatino, ruins of ancient village of Rome and to finish the Circo Massimo, the biggest building for exhibition never built in antiquity. Arrangement in hotel, dinner and night.
2nd day: Rome
Breakfast in hotel guided visit of “Catholic Rome”: Città del Vaticano, the capital of Catholicism, that encloses the wonderful Piazza San Pietro with the Basilica, the Musei Vaticani with the Cappella Sistina. Lunch in restaurant. During the afternoon guided visit of the main churches: San Paolo fuori le Mura, San Giovanni in Laterano with the adjacent Scala Santa and Santa Maria Maggiore. Typical dinner in restaurant. Return in hotel and night.
3rd day: Tivoli
Breakfast in hotel and departure for a full day excursion to Tivoli. Visit of Villa Adriana, the most important and complex villa arrived to us from the roman antiquity. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon visit of Villa d'Este, famous for their fountains that work with the natural pressure of the water. In the afternoon return in hotel for dinner and night.
4th day : Rome and departure
After breakast in hotel, during the morning walk to discover the most famous squares: Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, il Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi. Lunch in restaurant and finish of the services.
